As stated in Saudi Vision 2030, "We will expand the coverage of the E-services to include other services such as geographic information systems, health and educational services." The vision emphasized the importance of geospatial information as a supportive and enabling e-government initiatives promotion where “Everything happens somewhere”
Geospatial information contributes to enabling sectors and many digital areas through geospatial data, applications, spatial analyzes, and training of employees in a manner that leads to raising efficiency, improving services and business, and making location-based decisions.​​​

1.2.1​ Facilitating and simplifying procedures for hosting more pilgrims visiting the Two Holy Mosques Enabling and allow  many number of pilgrims to reach the Two Holy Mosques, facilitating their trips from their country until their arrival to the Kingdom, and providing sufficient information that enables them to take appropriate decisions before setting off on their journey and welcome them warmly and upon their arrival to make their journey easy and safeGeospatial data is necessary to make Umrah and Hajj easy and smoothly. Where pilgrims know the location  and the relevant information, also allowing  the competent authorities in charge of planning, implementation and decision-making regarding the housing and transporting pilgrims and Umrah performers, including crowd management, in a way that contributes to improving the Hajj and Umrah experience.
1.3.2 Preserving the Kingdom's Islamic, Arab and national heritage and making it known Revival and preservation of the Islamic, Arab and national heritage, ensuring its international classification and the possibility of identifying it all over the world. This involves preserving and rehabilitating sites, reviving traditions, organizing events, rising awareness about it and facilitating access to them (through museums, events, and media content)
The location of the heritage sites and providing the descriptive information associated with for  easy access, also providing products such as panoramic imagery  of the heritage site, making it easier to view these sites and get to know their details accurately and attractively, so that will  contribute to increasing the number of visitors.

Facilitate the obtaining of health services
​Facilitate passage to the health care services for citizens and residents to reach at the right time and place, through the following aspects: expansion of the total capacity (hospital beds, medical staff), appropriate geographical distribution (distance from a health care provider), and timely reaching to services related to
​Information and metadata about hospitals and health centers' locations, which contributes to facilitating accurate knowledge of its locations and easy access; In addition to the possibility of linking geospatial data in emergency call centers (the Saudi Red Crescent, security authorities, ... and others), it contributes to the excellence of service provision and saving lives.
2.1.2 Improving the quality and efficiency of health services Improving the quality and efficiency of health care and outcomes, will be by supporting the health system to meet the health needs and expectations of the Saudi society and promoting safe health coverage with demonstrated effectiveness while ensuring financial sustainability.Improving the benefits of health care services. The speed in moving ambulances to the place where they are needed at first glance (for example) helps to save the lives of the injured, beside to build the hospital in the area that is mostly needed this services; Provides a cost-effective value service to these communities. 
2.1.3 Strengthening prevention against health risks Promote preventive public health (such as awareness and vaccination) to reduce vulnerability to diseases and deal with health crises of communicable and non-communicable diseases (including dealing with epidemics and natural disasters).Strengthening the prevention of health threats like Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, by predicting where an outbreak is likely to occur and improving decision-making regarding response measures and interaction with the situation.
2.3.1 Promoting the quality of services provided in Saudi cities Improving the city-level services, including (public utilities, water, energy, electricity, fiber optics, gas and sewage), public transport and infrastructure (roads and parking lots), such services should be of high quality, more reliable, fast, and easily reachable.As cities are going to be digital, (utilities, public transportation, etc.) the current planning tools that integrate and visualize accurate 3D geospatial data with other data, including live sensors, lead to design the smart and efficient urban infrastructure,  providing services and increases the opportunities for its automation.
2.3.2 Improving the urban landscape in Saudi cities The urban landscape in Saudi Arabia improvement will be in three dimensions: First, improving the urban landscape for public and community places so that people can enjoy by it (for example landscaping and gardens), second; setting out architectural guidelines for buildings and roads to ensure the aesthetics of public landscapes, third; limiting disturbing landscapes likes dumping waste and construction areas Identification of the areas' needs for landscapes and gardens through images that illustrate the distribution of landscapes, in addition to the location of water availability, whether it is natural for the terrain "water gathering places" or industrial "water networks" Geospatial data contribute to locate the best sites for disposing the waste and construction waste without damaging the environment.
2.4.2 Protecting the environment from natural hazards Reducing natural disasters (such as: desertification, torrential rains, sandstorms and epidemics) and reducing the losses caused by (sandstorms and torrents), these can be done  by increasing the accuracy of forecasts and early warning.Availability of geospatial information and metadata of such locations contributes to enabling the competent authorities to make accurate forecasts and share information with relevant stakeholders in order to support minimizing losses and increasing the accuracy of forecasts and early warning.
2.4.3 Protect and create natural areas Establishing reserve areas (such as natural reserves, beaches, and islands) which included an exclusive ownership of land, rules for construction and restrictions on certain behaviors or activities (such as hunting, fishing, littering, and sabotage) and access to these areas without jeopardizing environmental restoration, it also involves the rehabilitation of affected natural areas.Identification  of  the natural reserves locations and borders  contributes to monitoring and preserving the kinds of wildlife, also  the tides and bathymetry will contribute to the preservation and rehabilitation of the natural areas of the Kingdom.
1.5.2 Developing and diversifying recreation and entertainment opportunities to meet the population needs Developing and diversifying recreation and entertainment opportunities in the Kingdom, with a view to provide a variety activities for all segments of society in different regions to meet the needs of the population.The availability of information about the location not only supports planning of recreation and entertainment sites for citizens but also provides impetus for the development of ecosystem support services to contribute to its sustainability
1.1.3 Facilitation of conducting business (mainly the organizational aspects) ​Setting and implementing rules and procedures that remove obstacles hindered conducting, operating, developing business and settlement , and providing the necessary protection to the business sector in regard of  contract enforcement, insolvency, and shareholder protection.
Many of the criteria set for measuring the country's ranking in terms of facilitation of conducting business are calculated (such as providing electricity, registering property, obtaining building permits, etc.) that benefit greatly from the availability of reliable location information.
6.1.3 Attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) ​Attracting high-quality, diversified, and sustainable foreign direct investment, and gaining the confidence of the foreign investor.
Geospatial information helps the foreign investor to get sufficient information about the target locations for investment, thus contributing to attracting foreign investments and improving the quality of conducting business (see the objective # 3.1.1 statement ).
3.1.7 Creation of special zones and rehabilitation the economic cities ​Aims to create special zones in exceptional and competitive locations that take into account the comparative advantages of the various regions of the Kingdom
​The creation of special zones in exceptional locations depends mainly on the geospatial data for it, including, but not limited to, images that illustrate the semblance of a human life and a digital elevation model that illustrates the nature of the earth and the natural resources, in addition to previous studies concerning  all types  of these areas, and clarifying their results on ground.
3.3.1 Maximizing the value and utilization of the mining sector ​One of the objectives of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program, which aims to increase the contribution of the mining sector to the gross domestic product (GDP), in addition to increasing employment opportunities in the sector, depending on the availability of mineral resources, the burgeoning domestic demand, and export utilization for global markets.
​Development of the mining sector and achieving the best benefits by using methods such as GPS sensors, earth observation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
3.3.2 Development of the Digital Economy ​Developing a digital economy that works most through digital technology, especially technologies related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) , and supporting it with innovations, thus contributing to the development of the economy.​
​Most digital apps and analytics – which are the basic of the digital economy - carry out integrations to locate people, assets, resources, services, etc.
So; Reliable geospatial data is an important input of the digital economies, it creates new high-value jobs, thriving in the investment, and positive transformations in society.
3.3.6 Developing the tourism sector ​Enabling the growth of the tourism and entertainment sector oriented at the local citizens  and international tourists and strengthening the Kingdom as a tourism and entertainment destination locally and internationally.
​Availability of geospatial data for areas with attractions and access routes; It contributes to providing opportunities for companies to take advantage of these areas for tourist attractions and to develop innovative location-based services such as smart phone applications for the industry and development of the tourism sector.
3.5.2 Improving the local, regional and international connectivity of trade and transport networks ​One of the objectives of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program, is to facilitate the smooth transportation and movement of goods and funds; with the aim of strengthening and expanding various economic sectors, creating new sectors, localizing knowledge, diversifying sources of income and increasing the Kingdom's influence regionally and globally.
​Quality Geospatial information and efficient applications helps to improve the linking trade and Transport network interface at the local, regional and international levels. One example is the provision of information on navigational safety and accessibility to ports, infrastructure construction, and expanded use of self-operation techniques for means of transport (sea, land and air).
4.1.6 Ensuring the alignment of education output with labour market needs ​Bridging the gap between educational outcomes and labor market requirements, developing education and guiding students towards appropriate career and professional choices, giving the chance to re-qualification  and flexibility in moving between the various educational tracks.
​The rapid change in teaching techniques requires adaptation to academic programs. Which Results in graduates not having the skills required in the labour market. So , having knowledge about the geospatial information technologies is considered one of the useful skills for all sectors and thus can contribute to achieving alignment of education output with labour market needs.

​Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises  Contribution in the economy has increased
​Growth in the contribution of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the economy and the gross domestic product (GDP) and also in employment, job creation and innovation. The achieving of this goal need to use different resources (including financial, human, organizational and commercial resources).
​The availability of reliable geospatial data, awareness and technical support contributes to an increase in the number of digital services based on small and medium Enterprises that depends on technological innovation (such as Uber, Kareem, etc.).

​Development of efficiency of financial management methodology and optimal financial planning by preparing a public finance framework connected with a medium-term economic framework. Efficiency of operational and capital government expenditure, analysis  the governmental  agencies budgets and carry out revision for the operational and capital costs to produce savings to finance other projects.

5.4.2 Ensuring sustainable utilization of water resources ​Achieving integrated management to the renewable and non-renewable water resources so as to be used  in a sustainable manner, thus including planning for development and effective use of sources, and maximizing the benefit of using the  treated/ recycled water.
​Geospatial data provides information on the location and groundwater aquifers, natural water flow levels and water catchment areas in valleys, and the management of water distribution networks, thus contributing to the management of water resources in a sustainable manner.
6.2.2 Promote companies' interest in the sustainability of the national economy ​Encouraging companies to participate in economic activities in a sustainable manner and increasing its resilience to shocks by having a strong link to the ecosystem and economic system and on a long-term and not focusing only on short-term profitability.
​Sustained economic growth is the key to development. The private sector also has an important role in supporting sustainable development, and therefore geographic information systems (based on reliable national geospatial information) help the private sector to analysis of different economic activity data and enable the sector  to participate in a sustainable manner.
