Open data refers to data that anyone can freely use without technical, financial, or legal restrictions. It can also be reused and redistributed in compliance with the requirements of the open data license under which it is published. The purpose of this data is to promote transparency, encourage public participation, and foster innovation by making data accessible to everyone

Responsibilities of an Open Data User:

Use the data only under the terms of the open data license.

Include a copy of the copyright notice and the open data license when transferring or publishing the data.

Maintain the integrity of copyright and usage rights notices in all relevant documents.

Refrain from using the data for political purposes, to support illegal activities, or to encourage unacceptable behavior.

Seabed Classification Positional Data (Sample)

Description

Natural seabed samples collected during hydrographic survey projects using a grab sampler. These samples were geologically classified to calibrate the seabed echo sounder backscatter classification data. The data is available in XYZ format along with its Metadata.
