Geospatial aims, by issuing procedural documents and guidelines for the execution of essential and guiding tasks, to regulate the surveying, geospatial information, and related imaging sector in the Kingdom, to elevate this sector, supervise it, monitor it, and ensure the application of and adherence to the documents issued by it.
Geospatial has established these rules and procedures to ensure the commitment of practitioners of surveying and geospatial information activities and to the policies, standards, controls, conditions, and guidelines – and similar instruments – issued by the Authority. This is also to clarify violations and the procedures taken against violators, thereby achieving transparency and increasing efficiency.
The jurisdictions and tasks of the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information included establishing the controls and conditions related to the surveying, geospatial information, and related imaging sector in the Kingdom, circulating them to relevant entities, monitoring compliance, and updating them.
